The Distortion shows how many new, unwanted tones the loudspeaker adds to the music. If there is a lot it will sound fuzzy and rough.

This Frequency response was taken on a 20 Meter tall crane. After the measurement a filter was developed to flatten the response. If there were resonances we would see sharp spikes. As you can see there are almost none.
